What do we do?

Our Tour agency, ONAEC, was created to promote sustainable rural tourism in the Lambayeque, Cajamarca, and Amazonas regions of Peru. We receive nationals as well as international travelers, willing to discover and participate to the development of rural communities, which we have fostered for more than 10 years now. We offer specialized touristic packages, with high quality standards under the necessary objectives of sustainability, environmentalism, and human development.

We also organize tours in the South of the country where we partnered with the population to make you discover the Colca Canyon, Cusco, Nazca, Huancayo, Tingo María... If you have the desire to know more of the alternative Peru, respecting the culture and the traditions of its people, contact us!

Traditions and Beaches Tour

Cultural tourism

The tour starts with the visit of the National Museum Sicán in Ferreñafe to discover the traditional SICAN culture. Follows a visit to the Historical Sanctuary of the Pomac forest, the participation to a ceremony of land honoring ("Pago a la Tierra"), a tour to the ruins of Túcume, to finish by the Museum Tumbas reales of the Señor of Sipán in Lambayeque.

Experimenting the life around the dry forest

Participating to daily activities, the visitors share the life of the inhabitants of the rural community. This tour plans visits to development projects executed by Centro ECO, a Peruvian non-governmental organization promoting sustainable environmental, social, and
economic development. In the Valley de La Leche of the Lambayeque region, you will get to discover successful experiences in the implementation of rural sanitation infrastructures and the management of agricultural forestry production and processing, realized harmoniously with the environment.
